Concrete Grinding
Here's a few short videos that help you understand how concrete grinding is done and why it's so important. After you watch the concrete grinding video, call me at 602-550-8818, and I'll be glad to answer your questions or set up an on-site visit to discuss how to prepare your sub floor. Concrete grinding and concrete leveling is our specialty! Getting a concrete floor really flat and level requires precision work, and we have the equipment and skill to achieve the results you need. New flooring cannot be installed successfully on a surface that isn’t flat and level. It’s like any other surface – without proper preparation, you don’t get a high-quality, lasting finish. Because we also install flooring, we know how important it is to have a well-prepared, level sub floor. With the right sub floor preparation, you will enjoy your new floor for a long time to come! In Arizona, slab foundations are the norm, and concrete grinding is usually the best method for preparing an uneven sub floor. Contractors and homeowners often discover problems when they remove old flooring, and then don't know who to call to get the problems fixed. We can help! Our virtually dustless concrete grinding technique and sophisticated equipment does the job quickly and cleanly, capturing the concrete dust before it can spread – perfect if you are already living in your home.
Concrete grinding requires specialized equipment and skill. We can do either wet or dry concrete grinding. However, wet concrete grinding creates a lot of messy concrete sludge, and is better suited to outdoor spaces. Dry concrete grinding, on the other hand, can be the perfect method for smoothing interior floors. As long as the right equipment and proper dust capture techniques are used, the process is fast and clean. Because dry concrete grinding heats up the diamond grinding wheels, making them less efficient, we invested in two complete sets of grinders. We simply switch grinders at regular intervals so we always have a cool blade to work with.
We have made a sizeable investment to acquire all the equipment needed to grind concrete floors efficiently, including:
With
the accessories needed to operate this equipment, our investment totals
over $30,000.00. Contrast this with the $400 that most
installers have invested in a single 7” grinder, and you will understand
that you will have the best concrete grinding equipment available
working on your project. And remember that without the right dust
control equipment, your home and everything in it can be covered with
concrete dust. You may have heard horror stories about gritty concrete
dust getting into everything in the entire house, making clean-up a long
and difficult process. We can guarantee that this will not happen on
our jobs.
